Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the PassBorder application ("App") operated by EMPTINESS AI DEVICE LTD. ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing and using PassBorder, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
PassBorder is a macOS desktop application that provides immigration and visa guidance tools, including but not limited to: AI-powered interview practice, document checklist generation, immigration pathway planning, deadline tracking, and document review. The App is intended for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
PassBorder provides general immigration information and AI-assisted guidance. This is NOT legal advice. For advice specific to your immigration situation, you should consult a licensed immigration lawyer or consultant. EMPTINESS AI DEVICE LTD. is not responsible for any immigration decisions made based on information provided by the App.
Upon purchase of a Personal License, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use PassBorder on one (1) Mac computer. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the license key.
The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by EMPTINESS AI DEVICE LTD. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your requirements. Immigration laws and visa requirements change frequently — while we strive to keep information current, we make no guarantees about accuracy or completeness.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EMPTINESS AI DEVICE LTD. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or reliance on information provided by the App.
PassBorder integrates with third-party AI providers including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT-4o), Google (Gemini), DeepSeek, and Alibaba (Qwen). Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated responses.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
